Structured Daycare
We currently offer the following groups as part of our structured day programme for drug and alcohol users:
Open Group: This group is held once a week and is open to all clients on a drop-in basis. This is a suitable group for individuals who value shared experiences with others and a lower threshold of support. Clients may attend this group as a stand alone group until they can access the Into Action group or they may access this alongside any other structured group. This group is available in Warmley and Yate.
Into Action Group: This group is for clients who would like support in making and maintaining positive changes in their lives. This group is delivered at Warmley and Yate, for a period of twelve weeks and has elements of Motivational interviewing, Brief solution focussed therapies and CBT. Clients will need to be referred to this group by their care co-ordinator.
Relapse Prevention Group: This group is suitable for individuals who have made changes to their lifestyles and have possibly achieved their original goals. This group will support people in maintaining their new lifestyle and equip clients with the tools they will need to continue this independently. This group is delivered once a week in the evening at both Warmley and Yate and has a duration of eight weeks.
Peer Support Group: This group is facilitated by clients for clients and is a once a week group on Monday evenings in Warmley. This group provides low threshold support to clients that are working towards exiting support services.
