Resettlement and Floating Support Services
These services help people to both find a home and to develop the skills to maintain it. As well as working with homeless and those in housing need who are experiencing problematic drug or alcohol use, specialist services also work with prisoners and ex-offenders recognizing their particular support needs on returning to the community following a custodial sentence. The team gives basic advice and information on housing, benefits, budgeting and managing debts, assistance in purchasing household equipment and help to develop community links.
ASPIRE
A housing advice service based at DHI, which aims to prevent or overcome homelessness in Bath. Aspire helps its clients to retain their current accommodation or ensure access to suitable housing for those in need.
