Supported Housing
In Wiltshire DHI provide supported housing for men and women who have had contact with the Criminal Justice System or are at risk of offending due to substance misuse, and have identified a need to be abstinent of all drugs and alcohol.
Acorn House, in Trowbridge, which opened in July 2004, is a six bedroom house, run in partnership with Somer Community Housing Trust. The aim of the project is to support clients and prepare them for independent living. See Off the Wall 1, Page 6.
